Abstract Information - Deadline for Submission: 11:59 PM (Eastern), Monday, May 5, 2025
The Program Committee of The National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME) invites you to submit abstracts and presentation proposals for our upcoming conference, themed "The Cutting Edge of Forensic Pathology: Investigation, Integrity and Innovation." We are seeking bold, forward-thinking submissions that push the boundaries of forensic pathology and death investigation, offering fresh perspectives, groundbreaking techniques, and visionary ideas that will shape the future of our field.

This is your opportunity to showcase your most insightful and innovative work—whether it’s a pioneering technique, a transformative technology, or a creative approach to longstanding challenges in forensic science. We encourage prospective presenters to propose topics that not only reflect their personal passions and expertise but also deliver tangible value to the broader death investigation community. Your contribution could inspire collaboration, spark new research directions, or redefine best practices—don’t hold back!

Complete abstracts must be submitted online no later than 11:59 PM (Eastern) on Monday, May 5, 2025.  Faxed, emailed or mailed abstracts are not acceptable. All accepted abstracts will be published in the NAME Annual Meeting Program. Abstracts that are eligible for publication (see “Eligibility for Publication” section) will be published in The American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology (AJFMP). First authors of accepted abstracts are expected to register and present at the Annual Meeting summarizing their studies. Click here to submit your abstract.
